Stop in for a cup of coffee

It is a moving place! My stepdad was stationed there in the early 60's. I regret not getting him back there to visit before he passed.

He may have known my dad... He spent 4 years in the Navy after he graduated college in 62... My dad was in from 62 - 66...

My dad had his special ordered 62 Sport Fury convertible with a 361 4 bbl shipped out there (pun intended) when he joined as an officer out of college - they would let you take one car to the islands... Mom out ran a Honolulu detective in it once (funny story).... They stayed in Navy housing while he was there...

I think I'll cook up some eggs and sausage this morning. More fun than a bowl of cereal.

Not quite an hour, a little paint and see if i can get it in place below existing footboard. Pull pedals next. No fun. Has to be done to get boots in place.
