Stop in for a cup of coffee

And today Americans are buying Japanese cars like America does not make cars....Just not right IMO....

The American car manufacturers kinda brought that on themselves...

With the crap that they built in the 70's and 80's and the American public had to "take it or leave it"...

Then the Japs came in and started building them with better quality and beat them...

I'm not defending the Japanese car makers, I'm just calling it as I see it...

The Americans invented Statistical Process Control (SPC) and didn't use it... If SPC is used properly, 99.9% of the products will be defect free... The Japanese started using it and brought their quality up, then the American car manufacturers had to catch up....

Now many American car manufacturers are discontinuing most of their car lines, effectively giving that market away....

Not sure what i want to pick on today, think i should think about the weatherstrip stuff. So i can touch up the doors. Paint chipped off in a couple spots.
And steering wheel.

Good Morning Everyone. Hope all is well. Supposed to be in the upper 40's this week with some rain/snow Fri and Sat. I will take it for this time of year. Case of drag *** today....more coffee.

I've got to find some more parts for my McCulloch Timber Bear, it's an old saw and the starter pulley crank is busted where the recoil spring goes into it. So far have only seen parts saws, can't believe the shipping on that. Don't want to go out and buy a new saw, this one's suited me well as long as I can find parts.

It's

Tuesday!
Good morning :D

I had to find news about Chuck Yeager. What a life he had :D and no AP article is going to show the REALLY colorful things he did. Flying an F-15 at Mach 2 at 89 years old :steering:.

It’s a real shame Nasa wouldn’t take him because he didn’t have a 4 yr degree. Best damn pilot ever to fly for the US

He could have been responsible for many of those sonic booms we used to hear out in the desert on a regular basis . It was a noisy world being only 50 miles from Edwards AFB
