So you think its ok to upgrade to 10 now. I have 8.1 and was told to wait until they got the bugs out of 10 ?

I've installed it on two computers in the last few weeks and I'm even considering switching on this one, my work horse. I follow Wired magazine on Facebook and they usually catch everything pretty quickly and so far W10 looks like a good upgrade. And it's been patched a lot since its release.

Since you download it from Microsoft, you don't have to install and then download 160 hotfixes like you do when you install from a disk. That's a major advantage.

Haven't had any problems at all.

I like it a lot better than 8.1. More like 7, less confusing.

Yes, if you use the "standard" install, they have spyware 'watching' you...

If you do the custom install on windows 10, you can opt out of most of it...

Be careful loading it on old machines, some of the drivers in win 10 are not compatible with the older computers...

Man you guys were busy just getting the lumber list together for the deck and almost a full page! Home depot is going to love me today. 1500 in materials, a 10% off if I do the no interest for 12 months then the military 10% then just pay it off when it comes in! LOL $300 in savings! I am a happy camper. Might have enough of the insurance check left over for the shop insulation also! Hey and free delivery!
