For sureLess then a new water heater......
Last august, I went to rebuild a pair of John Deere cylinders, found out you had to have the special tool to get them apart. Seal kit was 50 bucks and change. But I couldn’t get the Ram to come out without this special punch. Couldn’t find it anywhere and of course Deere is sold out. So I take it to their service shop, it takes like 10 minutes for them to take them apart, hand me the pieces back, I took them home and put them back together. They billed our account. 634 bucks... a PIECE. New ones were 675 bucks each..... I was pissed. Called in there and they’re like “we have to charge as if we did the whole job”.I'll get 'er loose

I think so.That is good. Right ?
CPVCPvc?
You used primer, right? On joints....And twisted together the connections....not just slid on....Or did you use fittings like shark bite?CPVC
Yep, purple primerYou used primer, right? On joints....And twisted together the connections....not just slid on....
They do crack@Mopar Tim looksblike I got a bad fitting, I took the store barcode sticker off the bottom and that’s where it’s leaking, right where the mold line is on the T. I shut the water off and will fix it in the am
Yeah, i hate CPVC. It’s brittle, fragile and seems to crack and break easier than schedule 40 pvc. I’ve had a bad new fitting before on CPVC so I’m not entirely surprised but still sucks. If it were up to me, I’d redo all this plumbing with schedule 40 or even copper and be doneThey do crack
Yeah with this being a rental house, I’m not dumping a lot of money into it. Hopefully we’ll be in our built home by fall. But that’s looking doubtful as lumber prices haven’t dropped from their peak prices. It’s still 8-10 bucks a 2x4x8I have a water filter with some crap sharkbite fittings.as long as im careful replacing filter it wont leak. Had to replace them once already. Next time i will get my plumber buddy in to straighten it out. I dont have to replace ut as often after i installed a much bigger one on the main line into house.
Howdy, guess no social distancing there huh185 people on a boat ment for 145 max. Its been busy. Howdy all.
Cracks Matter..........They do crack
