Dinner and Desert!
Whats a stimulus check. I just received the 2ND one. Said I don't qualify for the 3Rd.
Third one, I don't think anyone does Happy Easter Ray
Thanks, might be able to put a lesser mix in there and fertilize it after. So far 12-14 yards of fill dirt to replace the holes the stumps left, will need more when I remove last stump. Then it's still below grade so want to bring grade up with quality dirt to level and plant. The garden soil was $45 per yard, holy cow!
Leaf mulch works good also but once again acidic the first year.
I'm hung up on a project, disassemble/clean/lube of turntable motor. Had medium duty snap ring pliers, broke them. Large was recommended. I tried a large regular screwdriver, twisting it but it's going to take a lot more force to split this motor case. Pretty precision motor, have to slowly split it where the two screws that held it together went through the case (as to not damage bearings etc.). Any ideas anyone? May have to wait to get the right tool damn!
Hahahahahaha! Probably lower maintenance and I like the close feature, will keep all the shop dust/dirt out of the drive motor lol!
Some ADULTS today couldn't work it.
The other day, this was the quote of the day. Looking like it may be the quote of the day, every day. Happy Easter to all who celebrate, and happy spring to all you bunny hunters! And for all of you who really need to know, there is a new video out there showing how to hunt and cook chocolate bunnies to make fudge.
Oh look whose not here.
Agree. This old Dual 1229 was built between 72-74, 7 lb. platter, they don't build them like that anymore lol!
Ordered heavy duty snap ring pliers on Amazon, we'll see...
Not quite sure what you're doing there, but I have used a large needle nose and pull handles apart. Might work in side holes of motor and work around different ones. What are you hoping to do to the motor once opened?
Toolmsn wants to see.
Mod it to run 78 records silly!
No, won't do that without a mod! Does run 45's, also is fully automatic and can play multiple records if you use the dropper (I won't). This model is the culmination of decades of Dual technology, it's quite a piece of engineering of it's time.
Neiko 02130A Heavy Duty 16" Snap Ring Plier Set, 2 Piece, External and Internal Pliers, Straight, 45°, 90° Tips - Snap Ring Pliers - Amazon.com I guess they'll be here tomorrow, 7lbs so that's a good start!
Whoops I was wrong, it's a 3 speed table, does run 78's lol!
Laser disks then?
Lol no but I have an old Pioneer laser disc player that flips the disc at the end of the side : )
We have a old AR we fire up on occasion, prob still have 300 or so lp's still.
