My arm hurts. Wife staying home today, aches and pains. Guess i should think about maybe doing something. Or not. Should go clean some parts, and check crank for end play.

Almost have the smalls put away then start on the dreaded inventory of the done distributors, Big PIA but has to be done.

Morning, second cup is in the cup as we speak. Got the Barracuda almost back together, went to charge the A/C, gauges don't work with the new cans. Back into town today so I can get the parts to adapt the new cans of 134 to my old gauges.

Yep! I traded for a old Robinair brass sidewheel gauge set (bullet proof) and threw some adapters on it. Works for both systems.

Going to get ceramic coat done on new car shortly
Back from customer no service on the Mazda...
Actually the finish is awesome with the ceramic coat. Although honestly it was pretty damn good before and I don't know if I'd be able to tell the difference if they had just washed it and gave it back. But it has lifetime guarantee now. I definitely cant tell if they coated the interior. But then I shouldn't be able to tell, so that's OK too.
:soapbox:As for other issues, they were no help at all. First they said they knew nothing about the warning for low battery. They printed out the service alert and told me it's just the way the car is made. I told them -no, it's the way it is programmed and I want to know if they changed it yet, because as a customer that just spent a lot of money I think it sucks. They checked for updates, but found none. Also asked them to touch up screw holes from the front license bracket -said they have no touch-up paint...:BangHead:

Ceramic coat. Something I should do to my Swinger before our show. It will be on display because It's our t shirt car this year. Does that stuff attract dust?

Too early to tell. But have not heard of that being an issue. It certainly is a high gloss, but I believe it is more about protection than the shine. Mine is Simonize Glass Coat.

I might just use my Meguiars.

The stuff I got is really intended for use on new paint jobs. They still guarantee it for 7 years on older paint vs lifetime on new. No way it can penetrate a previously waxed surface as well. Probably not worth the investment. There are DIY sprays with ceramic coat in them.

I know you can't see my paint but would you recommend a wax, polish, or a glaze?

Well I know ceramic coat is supposed to wash super easy, so if your car does get dirty on display, just pour a water bottle on it and call it a day.
