Stop in for a cup of coffee

The crew is here to put the new utility pole in.. 5 trucks...

I'll post pictures later. My power will be out for a bit when the new pole is up and they have to transfer the lines...

Catch you all later...

Looks like the torque is going to be strong down low....perfect for the street, Ramie. Boy, I wish those dyno guys would go down to 2500 RPM.... For sure, let us know the seat-of-the-pants results vs what you had in the engine before, and the 'before' and 'after' of the builds. I think this comparison would be of great value to everyone.

Here's what I've been up to today. Gotta grind and weld in the coil over mounts later after I change all the lower A arm bushings. Takin break now.

oh - the Firechicken.... - took me a second.. ~scratching my head - - what the heck kinda Darts parts is that...?~ LOL

Some one put the Chassis together and then put in the 455 with headers. Had to cut 2 of the lower A arm bolts because the bolts could not clear the headers. Same on 2 of the upper arm bolts. ! step forward, 2 steps back !!

I'm not entirely sure that that looks like fun.. Beats sitting at a desk tho...

It's ok, I told the guy $80 an Hr. Time in, Time out.n No other way on something like this. Just went to get some refreshments !! :D

wow ...like 15 pages to catch up on. :-k

what are your opinions on wheel selection for a later duster??

I do not use aftermarket anything but being BBP, there are a few options.

I have any of these options in stock and I wouldn't have to buy anything any of these ways...which do you like the best??

Cop wheels and caps (body color wheels)

road wheels

deluxe wheel covers

classic rally wheels

in this order 2,4,1,3

The full size hubcaps spin on the rim as you drive and I've broken a few valve stems, so I like the dog dish better...

But I like the other rims, Road wheels and ralley wheels are better..

so you are saying 1 is the best and 4 is the worst ???

I like the rims in that order...

Picture 2,4,1,3...

Our 72 Challenger came with the road wheels, I like those a little better than the ralley wheels...

Either one will do...

oh I get it.

the road wheels (2) are unique on a duster because they were never actually available on a 74 or 5 duster. Yet they did appear later on some aspens and were available in 74 and 5 on B and E bodies.

I like the classic rally but seems over done because it is the most common by a mile, I have other cars that were original rally wheel cars, so I am kinda bored with rally wheels these days.

I cant say I have ever heard of or seen a full wheel cover move or shear off a valve stem.....how fast were you going :poke:

Daily driver. They creep over time and bend the valve stem so it tears at the base and leaks... It takes a while for them to get to that point, but after having to replace a few valve stems, I stopped using the full sized hub caps and use the dog dish ones that just cover the lugs and not the whole rim...
