Pretty well. We’re in week 3 now. 2 days a week practice. He’s only 5 but catching on well. He’s got better coordination than the others in his group, just a bit shy and lacking confidence. But he’s getting there
The first practice, it took 50 minutes to get him to go out and actually participate. He was very scared. Wanted to run back home. Finally another little boy came over and grabbed his hand and pulled him out to the group. He was hooked after that. sad part is, they went from 38 kids down to about 15-16 so far . Typical for wrestling but still he’s sticking with it
Should be good with 6. When I did the one on my main house I did 6inch concrete the other two and all the other houses here are blacktop. Guy across the road came over and asked why concrete and so thick. I said because A I don't want to do it again and B you never know what I may bring home.
Linking up this morning to compete the trade on the trans for the shotguns deal. Gotta drive about an hour and a half
Good Morning. Decided it was time to go to the doctor yesterday. Physical work started making me nauseous. Got checked out, no broken ribs or internal damage, just bruised cartilage. Should be fine in a couple weeks. Sore and uncomfortable, but at least know I will be ok.
Good Morning All! On generator this morning, coffee's made woo hoo! What a day yesterday, major rain and wind event. Got stuck in traffic trying to go fix stuff, once a landslide (also took out our fiber, made it easy to find that one), once a river that decided to cross I-5, once a full size tree and rootball slide down a hillside/cliff and took out two trucks doing 60 Northbound I-5 and lastly to finish it off a semi was blown half way off Deception Pass Bridge so I got another 2 hour delay coming onto the island. Oh yeah, neighbor had tree go over, took out his fence, went across our road, took out our power lines and top of tree is mixed up with that on our property. 100,000 plus without power.
Semi teeters on edge of Deception Pass bridge (q13fox.com) It was a fun day : ) I've never seen a kayak row down Iowa street in Bellingham, fairly near our service center which fortunately stayed dry.
I-5 in Bellingham to close overnight in both directions as severe weather snarls travel | KOMO (komonews.com) I was going Southbound, here's that tree that slammed into those two trucks.
