The second pump is what selects the park and reverse functions. I’ve only seen a pump delete actually work with a manual valve body

I had park and reverse and 1st gear. Problem was upshift. Only got to 2nd once and that's when things seemed to come apart.

That’s probably how I got so good at pulling Nv4500s and Nv5600s. When I was truck pulling busting clutches, eventually I got to where I could drop the trans and t case, new double disc clutches in about 2 hours time to back running.Tell you what. Taking it out for the third time is pretty easy..
The ***** was the triple discs and the big *** QUAD disc clutches. For every disc, you had a flywheel too, which makes them HEAVY!

Hey Chris just my 2 cents and not knowing what your plan is
but instead of welding it to the the 1/4 panel if that's your plan ya might want to use metal bounding glue there. No worping on the 1/4 panel that way.
