Looks good never tried it but looks like french toast and potato pancakes .

It is Finnish pancake. Like custard inside and crisp on outside edges from the cast iron pan. Warm raspberry on top

You know, I don't know for sure. I know there are threads/posts about that here on the site. I think the 340 ones are connected in the middle. Let me dig around in my bookmarks.

Agree. Really don't need a gasket unless the surfaces were damaged.
The heat shields use a flat sheet metal 'gasket' as an attachment method.
The idea of the middle ports communicating bothers me.

Because the drivers manifolds are "upswept" and without the shields you have a good chance of frying boots.
