Scrapple is a Pennsylvania Dutch dish, essentially a meatloaf made from scraps of pork, often including organs, combined with cornmeal and spices. It's cooked, then chilled into a loaf, and finally sliced and fried, often served for breakfast.
But what no one here talks about is the good stuff. And that is the pudding meat. The stuff without the cornmeal. You would love it cooked with onions. I almost never eat the scrapple I go for the good stuff.

Good morning :D

Most of the guys on here are immigrants (hopefully not illegally) to the PA Dutch area. My family founded the area with deep German heritage. I personally have made the scrapple several hundreds of times as well as the pudding meat. so I know!

My last comment was meant to be a snide kind of joke and not one of arrogance.
