MRA scan is done. Man that was uncomfortable. In a tube like normal MRI, but also an IV with dye and my arm above my head the whole time.

that is awesome.. btw.. a little tip. when putting the valve body back in, put the shifter piece into the case hole first then work the vb in.... I didn't pay attention one time and had it jammed in there and had to take the vb back off..

also.. i only put the pan on with 2 bolts and no gasket. then when it's in the car i adjust the shifter cable then put the gasket/pan on.. so there is no guessing you can make sure the detent is exact... or i usually center on the neutral safety switch and change gears a few times to make sure it lines up perfect..

Easiest way to get the shifter cable installed and adjusted.

My end-play paranoia is engaged

I believe that things will loosen up, given all the Green Goo that's in there now... so think I'm in a good place.

What I found is that the only things that really can transfer from the Slant-6 904 to the V8 are the the clutch packs and input shaft. Basically, anything that mounted onto the output shaft had to be from the V8.
