Well. one good thing come from that "custom/low car show", this afternoon on an errand to town at a stoplight I was stopped next to a Model A chop top coupe 
Kinda Lakester styled, big tall semi-skinny tires on wire wheels, probably the minimum legal windshield opening 
, Deuce grill shell with a bit of a lean to it. Behind that grill shell a Gen 1 Hemi 
with a 6-pack 
. Pointing at my open driver side window, ZOOMIES! 
. Had to turn the Steely Dan way up on the XM

Same up here. I told buddy to show up with a stack of hundreds, and ask what it would take..Still trying to find a bodyman/painter for the Cuda. Aint easy, talked to several people already. All they want to do is Insurance work. One guy told me he cant make any money doing projects. Told him I would pay him by the hour, whatever he wants, and pay up each week...WTF ????
They just dont want to be married to a 3,4,5 or six month project.

Another sunny morning, smoke has subsided for now. But still very dry. Visited a friend that lost his house in the fire. Its pretty devastaing. He had a couple very nice boats, burned to a crisp. So hot, trails of melted aluminum flowing downhill. Phone wasnt handy, should have taken a picture. He isnt interested in rebuilding, will pass the land on to his kids. 3 acres of waterfront property.
Fighting with our nissan xterra now. Intermittent no start. Im almost certain its the cam sensor. Have one on order, i borrowed one yesterday, good friend has same year and it fired off right away.
