Stop in for a cup of coffee

Got the trimming done. Well, as done as it's going to be. I can always go back and find areas to touch up after a few days. I would like to get the lawn mowed here. Chance of rain Saturday so it's today or tomorrow. I should be able to finish the base trim at the other house in an afternoon and I can do that any day. Whiskey club tonight. Looks like single Malt night. (que John) @Sublime one
Cedar Ridge Quintessential from just down the road an hour from here. "Today, we’re looking at a special release of Cedar Ridge single malt which appears to undergo a slightly different maturation. Like their other malts, this one is made from 100% 2-row pale malted barley, but it has been aged significantly longer, six years, in ex-bourbon casks. In lieu of the solera style vatting, the final blend here is a mix of that six-year-old single malt aged in first-fill Ruby Port, first-fill Amontillado sherry, and first-fill virgin French oak casks. Let’s check it out." The next 2 are from Westland (Seattle) and finished in Brand and Sherry and the other in Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon casks. It should be a good night. Of course there are usually a dozen other bottles brought by the members to share. You can't sample them all that's for sure.

I have wanted a Bullseye pick tool for the longest time, the one i wanted was $100. On sale for $36. So down the rabbit hole i went, ordered enough items to make the 100 minimum for shipping. They still got 100 out of me, but i got more than my money’s worth.
What does that look like. Not familiar with that one.

I just pulled up in front of our house on Downing. Preformance Auto is only blocks away. They are running one on the dyno. I can hear it screaming.

Got me a cheap pellet gun today for Squirrell hunting. 700 feet per second max and should be enough to kill them but if it doesn't I'll be an Elmer Fud and get the damn shot gun out and shoot anything that moves.

Well, I was under the deck of the house for a few hours replacing 5 ft of 1/2 in water line. My bad, the last joint I went to solder was too hot and didn't solder correctly. Had to go to the supply shop and get a few more 1/2-In junctions, got it all done. I did stop in between going for the replacement parts for a few beers. Sorry, but that's just how it is...

Nothing to be sorry about Mitch. Climbing under a house takes a few beers I think.

Damn, the last rain we got was 5". I just bailed the lawn. I need to put the bagger on and go over it again. I was cutting off 4 or 5". Not today though. There's whiskey to drink tonight.

Nothing like soldering overhead in a crawl space and having a drip land on your arm.
Are you using using a real plumbers torch (Prestolite or turbo torch)?

I like my Mapp gas torch. The head is separate from the tank unlike the old propane. Hot and handy.
