Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Well, is it going to rain. A big front was heading our way but it hit dry air and is disappearing. I might be able to mow yet today. Another mug of coffee please.

60 miles away. Looks like rain to me.

Thanks. I saw it happen but didn't know it was a sex toy. LMAO WOW!
Opposing fans have been throwing them for a coupe weeks now. Apparently the lesbo league fans don’t like a straight, beautiful blonde player that’s really good and tough

Well after a 6 mile drive in curves and heavy stops I pull into a Dollar store parking lot and check everything, no leaks, drips or errors.
So off to Lerado for a home made apple pie and a bag of deer corn, drive back home and unload.

Now, I do have a no read to gas gage after 17 gallons, so today I will check fuses, and voltage to the sender and gage, my horns are not working but I do remember pulling a round relay to check my sons horns and never put it back.

See how that goes and might put my AVS Carter on and remove a perfect running Avenger 670 cfm carb, am I silly ? Or am I just wanting a good street driver with a little leaner running primaries. Glad this is done and my return line and new 3/8 inch line is done

Got me a puzzle,,, 2007 Altima. Drivers door refuses to open. Screws at perimeter of door panel including the jamb edge. Dont see panel coming off until door is open. Everything on YouTube is newer model. I need to get better at begging for help LOL

There may not be a fuse related to the fuel gauge. That power came straight from the key switch in early models. Until 72 or 73 for a-body.

Ground the sender wire at the gas tank for a short time. If the gauge goes to full, you know that all the wiring to the gauge and the gauge works. The only thing left then is the sender and the ground strap between the sender and the fuel line. That makes me wonder how bad of a ground you would have if you didn't have a metal fuel line all the way to the fuel pump. The block to firewall ground would have to complete that circuit if it was metal all the way to the pump. . I drilled a small hole in the lip of my 66 Dart tank and ran a ground wire from the sender to it.

Exactly. The ground strap literally fell apart on me when I dropped the tank on Bazza's car, and I had to use a B-body strap to make it work (it was all I could find at the time).

Another thing I did was I wired (2) potentiometers in series to test the "stroke" on the gauge, so @memike, drop me a PM and I can ship them out to you, if you'd like. I have no further need for them. (Just have to find them again....)

Got my meds, took 2 as prescribed and then stretched out in office recliner. Finally feeling a little better. Time to get out there and do something. Oh, would you look at that, its raining! Guess im done for the day
Nah, i got a ton of indoor stuff to do..

But the fuel line isn't metal all the way. The ground strap at the firewall does complete the path. Smartest thing I ever saw them do was ad a 2nd ground jumper at the core support to battery. Headlights and everything else works even when the firewall jumper is detatached.

Ask @Tooljunkie he gets more done everyday by noon than most of us get done all week! He works a wide variety of cars.

You need a bigger BFH…

So I went out and roamed around a bit. Once by that car I had to try again. Door popped right open. I grabbed a wooden wedge and trapped the light switch off. No fault found. No wear on the striker beyond some paint gone. Hinges tight. A few squirts of WD40 in the latch,,, I wish every door I own worked so slick. Happy motoring for now
