Good morning. Decided to take a morning walk before it started to rain and of course it decided to rain before I finished my walk.
Yep I'm soaked.

Yep, same here but I was just walking from the shop to the house and it went from a drizzle to a ground pounding rain, had to change my shirt for the day
.

I usually walk slowly through the rain... my theory is that if I walk slowly, then only the drops coming straight down hit me. If you run then you increase the number of drops that hit you because you run into them.

"Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper?"
Looks like the contractor sealed and spray foamed the exterior of the basement today already. This was an added perk I chose, we didn’t need it as with both the fibers and the water proofing additive in the concrete already, it’d been water tight but to me, it was worth the extra 1500 bucks for him to do it. The sealer goes in first, then they foam it at grade level with closed cell foam. In a couple hours, this will be fully expanded and about an inch thick, giving a r6 value right off the bat while protecting the sealant from the gravel back fill

As a kid, that was our job on my dad's job sites.... rolling and brushing tar onto the concrete before backfilling

Smart! Now's the time....

We're getting moisture in one of our finished walls in the basement (a "sloped" walkout wall, like your first picture above), and when I dug down to check for waterproofing I found....NADA. As in Nada damn thing. So now I'm scrambling, and trying to find a good contractor who can excavate it out and do the job right before the snow flies.
