Stop in for a cup of coffee

Watching some hockey before I head in to work tonight, the Habs and Utah. The whole thing just seems wrong. Expansion teams should not get to play and original team until their second year. Don’t get me wrong it is super cool the NHL is expanding but I still can’t wrap my head around Utah! Hah!
Go Jets!
NHL has the most rapid turn of expansion teams becoming competitive

Yep we thought we had strip picked the peppers already but we got one last flush. And man they will blister ya!
Yep, the later bloomers are I have always seen.
Yep, even the younger sisters of first born girls !! Loma, sometimes I crack myself up at times lol.

Don’t toss it, Fred! And if/when you DO decide to sell, a Model A of one sort or another is in my future somewhere, I just know it, and I’d be honored if you would consider dealing with me on it/them.
I have a bit of engine parts. Carbs, distributors, intake and exhaust manifolds, pistons, and a I don't know parts.
My old 29 truck is for sale and not making this a sale trend but would sell it and all the parts for a reasonable price.

There’s a Model A club in Minnesota, I understand, and since I know next to nothing about them (other than I want one), I’m pretty sure I’m going to join-up sometime soon and start asking questions and sniffing around. Ideally I think I’d like to get a convertible (forget what they’re called in Model A speak- cabriolet? Touring car?), as the only time it will be driven will be on really nice days, so why the hell not?

Anyway, that’s all in the future, and I have two trucks I’ll need to sell next spring before I can get serious about this, as I only have so much indoor space to park things.

Guess what is down the road? Yep and they made a shed out of it and painted it with black tar.

I just finished assembling all of the day two parts on my new motorbike. It's going to stop raining in about an hour. Then I'm going to go get some gasoline for it since they only put a little in it. Ride it around for a little while, and put it away again before it rains again....

Took the new motorbike out for a ride and got some gasoline since they only put a few drops in it when they give it to you new. Drove it around a little bit and now sitting at a cafe. Smoking a cigar and drinking some Vietnamese coffee..

Well I guess it was inevitable. While I was out it rained on my first ride on my new motorbike. Now it is wet and a little dirty. Time for an afternoon snack...

Morning all.

So spent the last two days coming up with the best approach for a slight issue on the house build.

When we ran the water line, we brought it in thru the basement wall, sealed of course, ran about 12 inches into the basement wall, capped it. Then buried the rest. Didn’t think much of it then as it was early September. The water has since been turned on and the pipe filled as there is a frost proof hydrant in the the line and when the concrete truck busted a water line, we needed water. Anyway, it’s gonna drop down into the upper teens tonight and tomorrow with rain and snow.

So I’ve shut the main off again, but have no good way to drain the pipe without flooding the basement with 800 line feet worth of water. Granted I have a sump and drains, but I digress.

So I’m going to build a mini room around just the water pipe and stick a heat lamp in there. Hopefully that’ll do the trick until real framing starts Tuesday.
