When I was racing karts on the kart club asphalt track our club president talked the owner of the speedway into a night of fun on the 1/3 mile :D . Lots of my buddys got dirt tires for the experience, I just adjusted my chassis some and ran on some well used slicks. "You're not gonna get anywhere on those tires!" They changed their minds when my little yamahammer and used up slicks kept up with or passed everybody but the guys that were running 250 shifter motors

When I work up at Sumas Generation or Substation near the Canadian border I have to pass this SIMA motorsports track and I look at them out there racing and think I'd rather stop here and play than go next door

Sunny, high on 57 today, son and I took apart an 87 318 yesterday during football games, we was surprised to see swirl port high compression heads on it, and stock roller lifters, this all came out of his 88 dodge 150 short bed, we are very happy with these good parts, I might get over to @MeMikieJr shop, good day to drive Victoria and pull the oil pan see what damage is underneath, rod went threw the oil pan, hopefully it locked right up like the previous owner said. Throttle body intake, must be my first magnum to take apart.

Well crap my engine builder just called, said he was concerned about the way he put together front of the camshaft in my 340. He was talking pretty fast and me not being familiar with any of it esp. when dealing with not putting in the hardware drive a fuel pump (I'm going injection) it was really confusing. He mentioned the fuel centric, an oil slinger and the way he addressed a "bolt delete" behind the timing cover possibly dealing with the camshaft retainer. I'm glad I didn't run it, he said what he did (addition of washer or whatever he said) wasn't going anywhere yet he wants to address it, offered to buy wife and I lunch and was very apologetic. Lack of Mopar experience is showing here imo

Mopar experience or no, sounds like a straight-up guy to me. Not very many of them left, it seems.
