Stop in for a cup of coffee

Think I bruised a rib in the shop yesterday lost my grip on a sheet of plywood and the corner hit my chest. Just hurts. Nothing they can do about it!

Well, to be fair, I did also get the electric bill for my place in Maryland. $300 USD....sad....
Depending on month ours bounces between just under 100 up to 250 or so. Keep in mind our house is totally electric, no gas. We are to far out for NG and the propane thing is a racket!

Can’t “like” that one, sorry. Had my share of bruised ribs in my day, and all I can say is try not to work too hard (breathe too deep), and get yourself a large Ace wrap. They do help. Good luck!

Thanks for the reminder about pulling a fuse. That will do a reset on the wife's Buick for recalibrating the hvac actuators. We don't have any rear heat.
Have that issue with my 02 escalade. Have to pull the fuse to reset occasionally otherwise the heat or a/c only blows out the windshield vents

Best Pic I can get the red area about 4 inches above the heal.
Rock hard an on fire.
After the last few months I'm done with hospitals.
calling the doc this morning to see if can subscribe sometime for the pain. Otherwise it's brownies to the rescue.

ouch! hope that heals up soon Wolfie.

A car guy that I know had a car for sale. Said rust free. Went to look at it, not too bad but top inner fenders under hood had some rust through and some lower rear fenders. So you get different descriptions from different people
we had a guy in high school advertise his car as rust free...IT HAD NO TRUNK FLOOR! when that was pointed out, he said "I'm not charging for that, the rust is free!" I wonder what wonder salesman job he ended up in?

it's Twister Tuesday!

Perfect.

I think I'll round up some supplies and start priming the bathroom over at the other house. The flooring install will be in 6 days. Taping everything off will take the most time.

Just came in after I took a bit of a fall. Figured I would take a bit and do a systems check and go back out. I was hanging last piece of tin and managed to fall getting off the ladder, in my graceful landing I managed to land on a Johnson bar I had stuck in a hole for a post so that I did not step in said hole. What a yard sale. With both shoulders replaced and all titanium I do not fall well and have learned to pull arms in and absorb fall with my gord! I am laying on ground trying to figure out what is broke and what is functional and my ever present hounds took over. The Mal was on me in an instant talking to me and licking my face ears or whatever. The Shepard being a bit more slow charged across the last bit of space and hit the Mal like a freight train and blew her off me and then proceeded to lay on me and kept the Mal at bay. She went total Shepard medieval. The Mal being the smarter of the two had already figured out I was fundamentally ok. And there was just no reason to get close enough for an encounter with the pup who was puffed up ears back and having none of it. She would not get off me so I could stand up, it was a total hot mess. Thought sure I was gonna get bit trying to stand up! Hah! Turns out the only thing hurt is my pride! Life with these two hounds is never dull.

Damn! Glad to hear you're ok! Hopefully you don't get hit with one of those "next day" things.

I had a Belgium Malinois in a previous life. Think the dog was smarter than me.
