Stop in for a cup of coffee

I can't think of anything that we need for the kid's Valiant at this time, but will let you know if we find out that we need something, I will post to you....

Thanks for thinking of me. :prayer:

I was just thinking that it would help get the car running for his daughter. Pretty cool that a young teen aged lady is interested in driving a Mopar... :D

You have to respect a female that is into Mopars... :prayer: A dream girl for a young buck to find at that age. :love4:

How cool would that be to have a gf/wife that turns wrenches on the cars with you.... :glasses7:

If you know him have him pm me. If it does not fit in a flat rate box I do not want to deal with it for beer money. Remembere I am retardiered now some days more than others

Did you try the ginger tea out?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that today (but did in a post yesterday). Yes I did. #-o

My throat was a little "scratchy" when I woke up yesterday, so I tried the tea with lemon, honey, and ginger, and it took the "edge" off of my throat...

I didn't even use the soup with garlic, tumeric, and black pepper yesterday as I was feeling better. :D

I had a cup of the tea and ginger in the late AM and also last night while cooking dinner... My appetite finally came back last night, which was good because me and the boy bought a 4.5 lb side of salmon that I had to cook up before it went bad... So we had salmon for dinner last night, and the boys pigged out! :snorting:

I'm at least 70% back from the cold, now have to lick the last bit, but at least I am functional as my head is not pounding any more and my breathing is clearing up. I used a box and a half of snot rags (Kleenex) so far and my nose is starting to look like Rudolph...
:crybaby:

Funny how the simple things work out! Always was a Mary Anne guy myself!

Sounds like you're on the road to recovery Karl. It hit you pretty hard.

I am sure there is. If you have a want list pm me and what you are willing to pay. Also a phone number to give ya a ring if it is there. From what I understand this guy is closed but lets a select few in and I have a pass with Logan to get in. I think you lay it out and he gives you a price. This trip might be the highlight of my summer.

That's a cool find...

It's hard to find a junk yard with some Mopars that have anything that hasn't been picked over yet... :pale:

There used to be a few yards around here back in the day. One guy had a yard that he wouldn't let anybody in, but he had some good stuff in there. We could see a purple Challenger from the road that was in there so long, that a tree had grown through the interior and came out the broken out windshield. It had a thick trunk, so it had to be there for years before we saw it... He had cars piled all over there, you could not see very far in there... #-o

We tried to get in there to buy some parts from him, but he would not let anybody go in there.... :glasses7:

I found out from my brother, that he was eventually caught running a chop shop through there, it was a front.... :banghead:

This place looks like the ones growing up but the trees were just seeds on the floor on the wet carpet, not making sunroofs!

Whoa sudden car **** this morning. ....

I see a good grille on that red 71 scamp. ... looks like a 71 because of no emblem but instead a reflective decal

Dirty nasty rusted car ****!

Looks like the greasy dream you had last night! Rani You are funny.

LOL

nothing wrong with grease .....I have become quite fond of the aroma of 90 weight.

the stuff is pretty strong.

actually I have a truck with a transfer case .....aluminum case so it takes ATF and I was noticing its kind shimmery in the sun.

not sure if that is normal or if I should be worried ......real worried. how clean can the ATF be in a 20 year old transfer case that got an oil change a few years ago lol

Morning Tike Whats up with your county and stop signs at the bottom of a hill and no warnings?

Yeah, the natural remedies helped me get better in a couple of days...

No prescription stuff, no side affects, no doctor visit.... :violent1:

I think that there are some good natural remedies that the drug companies don't want us to know/use as it would cut into their profits.... :violent1:

They value their profits more than they value our well-being.... :finga:

They don't want you to know that you can get cured with $10-$15 worth of produce from Whole Foods instead of paying for a doctor visit and expensive prescription to boot..

I would love to see how much money the new health care plans have boosted the profits of the insurance companies and health care industry.... With all of the compromises that were made to get it to pass, just played into the hands of the "industry" and screwed us citizens...

I could get a prescription for anti-biotics easily. My ex-father-in-law is a retired doctor (DO - two years more school than a MD) who specialized in cardiology and internal medicine. All I have to do is call him and tell him my symptoms and he will prescribe a medicine for me. He's a great guy and we still are on good terms even after the divorce. But I don't do that unless I really need to, as I prefer to fight it naturally.

I just spoke to him yesterday on the phone. Since I was feeling better, I scouted out some hotels for them to come for my son's graduation in a week and a half. I've known his daughter since 86, we started dating in 87, and married in 90. All of those years we've tried to get her parents to come out here for a visit, and never were able to. Not even when my parents and grandma died... We are finally getting her parents to come out here for a visit. He's a big golf fan and I live 7 miles from Cog Hill golf club where the Western Open is played every summer... I even told him to bring his clubs if he can stay long enough to play so me and the boys can play a round with him while he's here. We have many coursed to choose from around here. Orland Park's motto is "Golf Center of the World" as there were so many golf courses around here. Some have closed, but many are still going...

He would love to go back to Detroit and brag to his buddies at the Detroit Golf Club that he played on the Western Open course.... It's a very exclusive golf club in Detroit that he's belonged to for years... He's taken us golfing there many times... He once showed me some of the member's ratings listed in the men's changing room. Many of the Red Wing players were listed there (this was back in the 90's), and they have some low handicap ratings. I guess golfing is similar to shooting a hockey puck because they are good golfers also.... :prayer:

I hope that he can stay a while so we can show him some of the cool things to do around here... I don't think that we'll be able to get him back out here again so I want to show him as much as I can while he's here... :banghead:

That's Perry County. I don't live in Perry County. I am still an hour and a half west! I need to fix your GPS! I live in Huntingdon Co and even up here we hear about those Perry Co. people!

OOPs! I just figured you fit the profile..... Go back a few pages and take a look at the pics.

Have you built up a tolerance for pain when you skin a knuckle??? Eventually you get used to it and keep working. You get to the point that it hurts more to clean it up than when you busted it open in the first place. Kinda like the "special forces" that are trained to ignore pain... :rambo:

I know some guys that rub the grease into their cuts.... :rambo:

He also used to say that an engine won't run right until you've bled your best blood on it... :violent1:
