Hi Rani, congrats on getting your Polara home, I think you will find it much easier to drive than the later c-bodies, because of the smaller size and the visibility and also they seem to me to have a lower center of gravity.

I think its the best 6 bills I have spent in awhile
I say...pick up em up while you can. As I handed the money over to the seller I felt like I was ripping him off because the crisp 100 dollar bills almost feel and look fake but that is our monetary system these days.
When you stop and consider where this country is headed and the value of a dollar today compared to years ago....I would rather have the car than the money. If and when the dollar is belittled to simply paper worse than what has already happened, better to have tangible items that will actually be of some value over the green paper

that would be interesting to measure them, because I always had the impression the later ones were slightly downsized from the early ones.
I had a 70 fury before and this car is a lot different but it would be interesting to have them side by side.
Oddly enough, you are right on the visibility factor. For some reason I feel like I can see over the 66 Polara dash better than I used to in my old 70 fury. That was one main reason I traded the 70 fury for my green 69 dart.
Parts also seem easier on these 60s cars over the later ones.....the 70 fury needed some pieces that were nearly impossible to find at the time.
