That depends on your tire guy. Like anything else. Find a guy that knows tires. Not just one brand that he is pushing. And that would tell you the right thing even if it did not pad his wallet.

I can understand that but Jim ( A groovy guitar player) has been taking care of all my tire needs for pert near 30 years, and sponsors my sons Dirt race car.

thats a good one. but 95% are bad ones. For example, the manager i dealt with yesterday is the only one in this area i'd trust and even then, only so far. he knows his sizes but get to rim sizes, not as much. he's been doing it since the 50s.

but go to a tirebarn or walmart or sears or any of the other chain stores that are killing mom and pops, and you're lucky to find a guy who knows how to change a tire even.

Don't know if anybody has that type of tire/tread in size you want. Seems those style treads are more in the low profile 18" plus wheel size.
