What happens in TJ does NOT stay in TJ! I am only 20 miles north of the border, but it is getting dangerous down there. Good chance of getting kidnapped for ransom.

Yeah, I wouldn't go into Mexico these days. Last time I was there was outside Guadalajara in the Lake Chapala area back in 2002. Even then, I wanted to get the hell out of there as quickly as possible. Did a few days in Puerto Vallarta at the end of that trip and never left the Hotel compound. After that, I vowed that I would never go into Mexico again.
Used to go down there at least once a week. Been a few years now. NO WAY.
Only way I'd go into Mexico these days is with a platoon of M1As

Mexico is so badly corrupt that even the Police are beyond redemption. They need a complete cleansing from top to bottom before it would be a decent place again.

Let them sneak over, capture and tag them with RFID explosive devices implanted in their head and then send them back to Mexico. If they sneak back with a tag, instant detonation.
