Yep
Yep
Im guessing those issues are with that rack in specific
Karl, were you playing Evil Knievel as well?
ah yes - the temp one until the swelling goes down..
Have you driven it? That doesn't sound right at allI'll check out any rack to make sure its good!
No, no, and no. Now my front suspension is a mix match. Im running 72 down K member, with 73 up steering. It was recommended on here on numerous threads to reverse them, to allow the clearance so the calipers dont hit the sway bar when at full turn.
there's a "now what" moment if I have ever seen one

he tried to catch an entire engine, trans and transfer case with one hand...Karl, were you playing Evil Knievel as well?
Just flipped the spindles side to side ? Everything else as it should be rear steer? bit confused myselfHave you driven it? That doesn't sound right at all
73 + spindles are rear steer as well so I really don't understand how you're running them as front steer with that linkage

Officially in the supervisory position.well Karl, now you're going to have to get those boys to double down on the assistance thing for you

pulling eng trans & transfer case out of jeep cherokee, whole back smashed my hand...
Read back for details...
hard 4 me 2 post with one hand...

Don't mind Chris, he hasn't actually built one...yet.Yep about 3k miles on it. 72 down is rear steer as well. Just swap the spindles from a 73 car to get discs. If you want to run factory sway bar reverse the spindles and ball joints. Its been pretty common on here.
<<(Chris)it never friggin' fails though huh - can't do it right at the end of fall - - oh no, it has to happen mid to late frikkin' spring...

Ummmm...I'm thinking it will take a bit longer now than 30 years ago. Metabolism and osteoclast/osteoblast function for bone rebuilding changes dramatically with age.No...
I'm a fast healer, but I don't want to heal too much yet before it's set back in place...
Then I will try to help it heal faster with tons-o-milk to supply calcium & let my metabolism be the bottle neck, like when I broke my leg 30 years ago...

When you are young, your entire bone structure is rebuilt every 90 days or so. At age 50, it takes closer to 18 months which is why osteoporosis is such a huge issue in men and women in their older years. When the hormones estrogen and testosterone begin to wane, the bone rebuilding process slows massively.
