Stop in for a cup of coffee

I still have to sell what's in it. I really don't want to spend the money this late in the game but if it works it still has value. If it doesn't it's worth just a few hundred bucks for scrap.
you do mailorders? I might be in the market to adding to my tool boxes, especially once the new job pay rate kicks in a couple weeks

Lol I will see. The plan is to sell off as much as I can. Sometime after the first of June, we will do a return to Mac. There will be some tools left that can't be returned like old part mumbers and worn packages. I will ser how it plays out in the end.

Before you do that check a few things you might not have to pull it, first is the shaft ok no more than .004 wobble then make sure the advance weights are free they might just be stuck also does it have a good ground?

All the dizzies I have done checked all the shafts were in spec so it might/prob will be something dumb, it ran before the carb so go from there.

Well I figured that, but what if I wanted to buy something NOW and help deplete your inventory....

the carb guy thought maybe we'd burnt up the condensor trying to crank on it, these thing have a fuel system that runs on oil pressure, until it builds oil pressure during cranking,(think like 20psi~ ), the fuel pump wont open to fill the carb, well with the running out of gas, sucked all sorts of debris into it and clogged it and the carb. even in perfect tune, it takes multiple revs of the engine to start.

it looks like my replacement booster is coming tomorrow.. I just got an email from UPS with a notice of package arrival - I sure hope it's the booster and it the RIGHT one this time.. I will make FabQuest not like me at all if it's f-ed up again

nice!

it better be!! LOL - I will rip the guy a new A-hole if it's the wrong one again. As it is he is going to be pissed when I tell him I am not using the shipping label with my return address on it.
why not?

because I don't want someone who I have no idea who he is having my name, ph. # and address

not my fault they shipped his stuff to me - why should my name be involved as far as the "real" buyer is concerned..

I know I put everything back in the box... but who's to say he won't try to pull a fast one?

thats not right. yeah I wouldnt either. I didn't realize they wanted you to direct ship it to the other guy....

and of course they already paid for the shipping label, so they are going to be less than happy when I tell them (a week later now) that I am not using it...
