Stop in for a cup of coffee

If I ever hit the lottery and can walk away from this place before my retirement date... (or, if not, the day after I retire) he IS on the list.. I doubt I will actually go find the moron and deliver the attitude adjustment he deserves, but I will write an email to a bunch of dill-heads who have landed on my ****-list over the years.. just a word - or two...
yep, i know that feeling. I'll be doing that in 6 days hehe

A lot of places shut your internal email off pretty quickly, so it can be tough to do. Here, I have access from home and I know it usually takes some time to kill an account.. I will give them a good reason to hasten the process.

Well, I got some of it out. But the best bit is still in there. The middle bit, the Chateaubriand.

Jesus - what the hell!!? you know how it goes in a restoration - it's the small stuff that'll kill ya... $3200 and all the small stuff is missing!!! that thing ain't worth 1/2 that!
i was laughing at the whole ad.... "we had it running years ago" yeah no **** Sherlock, ever car ran "years" ago

I'm still a happy camper, I wasn't really expecting to get it out without some kind of collateral damage. The same thing happened on the other side but it cracked in a different way so the loose bit can't go anywhere. I decided to leave it there. The bolt clamps the upper control arms but it also works as a lock so they cant come loose even if the clamp is a little damaged. The bolt would have to fall out and - believe me - it won't.

The issue is material related. The bolt is steel and the surrounding material is some sort of cast aluminum alloy. It oxidizes and seizes the bolt like it was heavy-duty Loctited the entire length.

I'll find a used leg and swap the whole thing. No biggie. What could possibly go wrong?
