Been busy as he!! at work lately. I figure another two weeks and it'll all be over, plenty of time to work on my own stuff.
I say slap another used/free/cheap trans in the PopMobile and get back after it.
If mine was good for a core I would.

Ray, heres a series of vids for 727 rebuild. This is what I used when I did my 904. I did get a hand from a local trans shop to compress spring and change clutchs.

Me and my adoptive dad have a 73 challenger that I finally got him excited about doing something with and we talked about a 440 or going with a 340 then I thought ......wait a tick, why did Chrysler only put small blocks in these cars???

I am expecting the very nice Fed-ex man to show up today with the four speed hump and if he wants to be my favorite person then he will also have some other small items but I am particularly waiting for the floor hump so I can get it welded in and start painting the floor. I even have the paint already.

I was going to get a used floor hump but a local guy has one for 100. bucks and it has some rust on it and a chunk of floor attached and was torched out so its probably warped.....its ugly and a mess.
40 dollars more gets a brand new AMD hump from ebay....ready to weld in and it straight and ....well, NEW.
I figured, why fight it and just went new. From experience they fit really good because I have an AMD floor hump in my 68 dart when I put the OD 833 in.

Christmas is right around the corner ...I am getting into it this year. I went to lowes the other day and got in the Christmas mood. They had a tree out that is absolutely gorgeous with the new style LED lights and they are nice.
