Stop in for a cup of coffee

Another good one to do, hell I have a ton of them take a large tie wrap and put it around the driveshaft up front and leave the tail there so it hits on the floor boards while driving funny stuff there.
We did this on the work vans. I worked for AT&T. Big *** wire ties flapping around under there

Jeez, forgot most of the old ones until you guys started talking about it.

Pebbles in the hubcaps
Wire ties on the drive shaft
Toothpick in the door lock and then broken off behind the little door
1/4 turn on the valve stem core with a removal tool (8 hour timed flat)
Ping pong ball coated with nail polish in the gas tank (random fuel shut off when sucked into pick up and then released after stall allowing restart)
Water squirted into door lock on a below freezing day
Swap cylinder wires on distributor cap to fubar firing order
Adding and siphoning fuel to someone intent on checking their gas mileage...super high for 2 weeks with added fuel and then super low for 2 weeks by siphoning fuel. Drove them nuts!

I am going to be at Hoppys sometime after 8 then it all depends on him. He says he is buying breakfast.

You guys. I could never top any of those.
Best i ever did was put a kill switch on a friends car while doing a tune up.
Put the switch along side the passenger seat.
I would shut off the car at traffic lights. This went on for weeks.
A few of our friends were in on it and did it to him to. The best was one day when we did it. I jumped out opened the hood and started throwing plug wires out. Old ones i hide.
He started freaking out .
Funny as hell when i got back in and he is flipping out traffic is backed up.
I told him hit the key he starts yelling. Dumb *** you just tossed all the plug wires in the street. I said look i fixed it hit the key.
The look on his face was priceless when it started.

That's a good one!

Then there is the rotten egg under the gas pedal.
Never did that one, but we did pour a bottle of skunk essence down the cowl inlet grates on a buddy's car in high school. First time he drove it it filled the inside with the smell and he had to throw away the clothes he was wearing...he couldn't drive the car after for about 3 months and even then it still stunk like he had run over a skunk. Took almost a year to get rid of it completely.

Still want to wire the brake light to the horn. Saw a video it was hilarious. Heard about the coil wire extended to the driver seat, set right where backrest meets lower cushion.

Ball bearing in vacum line is a good one too.

Another would be a remote control for kill or horn.

What oh what did I start! We snuck the History teachers VW bug in and a bunch of us lifted it up on the stage. Wasn't my idea

Vacuumed about 4 pounds of sunflower seeds out of the air inlet on an f150 today. 4 cylinders misfiring. Some bad fuel in town, thats 3 in 2 weeks. Glad i dont buy gas there.

Not sure what you disagreed to, had an impala running like crap, ethanol sensor detected 19%. Can smell it in the exhaust.
Many people are having trouble with this particular station.

The sunflower seeds had a ways to go before blocking air intake, but one baffle im guessing was near full

The disagree might have just been fat fingers on the keyboard...

We had a station near here that got a load of e85 dumped in on top of an underground tank of regular gas by accident. Took several weeks to figure out what happened. By then there were a few dozen cars messed up.

Makes you wonder how often low grade goes in the high test tank...
More than you might think. When I was running a Sunoco station for a friend while he was recovering from surgery, more than once I had to stop the tanker driver from putting the wrong fuel in the tanks. The worst was when the idiot driver was about to drop 6000 gals of diesel in the high test tank.

For most stations there are only 2 tanks (unless they carry diesel or e85). The mid grades are blended at the pump. If either main tank gets the wrong fuel, all the grades are affected. Sometimes higher octane and sometimes lower. Gets messier when the other fuel types are involved.
