Stop in for a cup of coffee

LOL already have one need to do a rear seal on it!
Fun. I haven't figured out the source yet. Looks like its coming from higher up, but behind the valve covers is dry. I'm hoping its the intake, but again doesn't look like it. That leaves the plugs in the back of the block - which I really hope its not. (AMC engine)

just trying to be a cheapo

its a 360 out of a 77 Newport and the car is a 75 dodge dart ...just trying to put it together as cheap as possible

Oh gee. Aren't there later 340/360 a-body exhaust manifolds that aren't terribly desirable? That's will be the easiest and cheapest IMO. No need for heat shielding and header coatings/wraps, and parts store exhaust will bolt up.

Start here: The 340 manifolds through -70 are the ones that sometimes command high prices. The 71 up 340s not quite so much.
Exhaust Manifold Casting #'s - CORRECTED 340 #'s

That's what I'd do

Pretty much my plan of getting the car running this weekend has been squished and squashed, and had a dog come by and pee on it.

So now I am in the mode of taking my time and since I have another payday coming from another deal I am in, i am now thinking of headers and exhaust and manual steering conversion. .........

As long as the pooch didn't pee in it, unless your being euphamistic...

It really all depends on your end goals. Headers are a decent cost/benefit ratio if you intend to race or compete in timed events where power is needed. Other than that, IMO the money and time can be better spent on other things, including (if allowed) retuning as a mostly desmogged engine.

Worked on degreeing the camshaft in, on this Poncho Stroker yesterday, 455 stroked to 469, Maybe a little tame, bit it should have longevity. Around 600 hp

Meet the newest member of our family. His name is Buddy and he's a 3 year old Boxer/Jack Russel mix. He's a real sweetheart and just wants to be with people.

Just did my Christmas tradition, bourbon balls. A double batch still only made 60 and they go fast, people are happy when they see them on the table. Nap time, then work.

Need to go to the shop for a wrench. Its cold windy and snowing off and on. I hate winter.
25 days....
Taking my old pellet stove apart to move out of the basement.
332 lbs is a little much to push up a flight of stairs.

I just trimmed and put a little rub on the brisket for tomorrow. It is a big one and I better put it on the smoker around 5 am if I want it to be done by 6 . It needs to rest for at least an hour after it comes off.
