I went back to stock but still have all the pieces. At the time I thought I needed the Pertronix unit I was chasing around a rough/rich idle issue on the new engine. It ended up being too cold of plugs. The Pertronix unit for those distributors is quite elusive. Here's a link: Working on electronic ignition conversion for HP273 dual point distributors

So, You said this is a 73... what #s would be correct for 75 and why different? Better/worse...?

My guess is not much. OSAC started in '73 and I don't think any other major changes came along in '75 that would further effect timing, maybe the cat.
Do you have the book for '75? That will give you half the answer. In the back the of the electrical section, but prob before the wiring diagrams, will be the timing specs. Take a picture of that.
After its running, and see what you got, maybe we can make it peppy, or perky or something. ;)
