I’m just glad to be done with the crappy week at work. There are significant changes coming soon and I have no idea where it’s all going. I’m fairly sure I will survive with a soft landing into the next version of the company...But I really don’t like chaos in my employment security.
I really just want to be done with this working for a living crap. 36 years of it is enough.
Sadly, it will be at least another 10 years before I can do that with reasonable financial security.

And an absolute GASSS to watch .. Course, my being a former equipment operator may sway my favorites to some extent. That reminds me, I have a vintage Coleman aluminium ice chest, a kadet go kart chassis, and a 15 hp Briggs for a racing ice chest project

I started early at 20 in the Operating Engineers just over 39 yrs put me at 60 and I pulled the plug. Staying any longer made no financial sense.

Big Block Better Burnout
Mornin gentlemen. Bike Week is in full swing this morning. Funny thing is, I haven't heard a single Harley yet this morning. Maybe because it is 39 degrees!! LOL. They camp in tents down at the Cabbage Patch where later the wimmin will do coleslaw wrestling. I kid you not. There are biker bars scattered along the coast so they ride to each one, have a few beers then off to the next one. Eventually, they end up on Main Street in Daytona Beach. It is so packed you don't ride, you idle. Sometimes I check in on the live cams but I no longer participate in Amateur Week - had some close calls in the past with idiots. Usually 5-10 deaths a year.

-11 with a +1 high forecast for today. Back is all cranked up,slipped on the ice a couple days ago. Makes working somewhat of a challenge.
Still gotta go,need to get x-trail fixed and re-inspected on monday.
