Stop in for a cup of coffee

It’s not just that generation. The older generation of boomers is rapidly becoming the same way.

They have exactly the same “I’m special, you are nothing” attitude.
This kind of attitude seems to be accepted, so why not the older boomers?

It’s not generation specific...it’s global across generations.

I believe the advancement of the instant internet connectivity has just allowed everyone to suddenly have a voice they wouldn’t have otherwise ever had..and they believe theirs is loudest and most correct.

I have to laugh at people who use the internet to spew their opinions on how technology is destroying humanity and complain about computers and the internet...Yet they seem to have have no perception that their voice would never be heard if the technology to allow it didn’t exist.

Typing on their smart phone that they hate smart phones just doesn’t seem to be a paradox to them. They only care that they are entitled to ***** about it.

I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but there should be something that can be linked to a vehicles speed, I.E. if you're driving , your cell data get cut off. You can still call emergency numbers but you shouldn't be able to surf Facebook
Why in the Fyck should you be on Facebook while you are driving? How MORONIC!!!!

I wonder if a caveman ever chiseled "I hate rocks" on a rock?

People of all ages are addicted to there smart phone devices. FOR SURE!!!
Interestingly enough, the latest iOS has a do not disturbed function that disables text, email and phone when the system detects that you are in a car in motion. It is a default setting that you have to manually change if you want to turn it off.

Apple is ahead of the curve anticipating regulations banning the use of phones, e-mail and text while driving. All they have to do is a slight alteration to the code to keep you from disabling it.

When I first updated my iOS I wondered why I wasn’t getting I coming calls on my hands-free phone system in the car when I was driving and they were all being sent to voice mail.

AT&T started a campaign a few years ago, It can wait. If a Employee of AT&T gets caught using there mobile device while driving, adios. Even a hand held device to access directions. And all devices are monitored very stridently

All evidence points to the new-old front socket not making contact with the bulb's contact points. And while I was at it, decoded the multi-function switch connections to figure out how it works when using a combined stop/turn/tail vs. a seperate stop from the turn/tail. So that's what I was doing.

Yeah...but did you fix it? :poke:

No. Too tired. Too dark out there and some other excuses I forgot...

I don't really know why the contacts aren't touching. There's a spring loaded non-conductive disk that holds the contacts. I think the contacts were spring loaded too, and now have failed. I should have brought home the original (pictured here) and cut open what's left of the housing. Even though it had nothing left to hold it in the lamp assembly, it still works. The 'replacement' from Crown is a piece of junk: its not sealed and nothing is spring loaded. It will work as long as the lead contacts on the base of the bulb don't permanently deform. Best will be another used original, just one in better condition.

The puzzle wasn't that hard. With the parking lights on, the DVM showed battery voltage on one contact and about 6 volts on the other. With the bulb installed, neither filament lit.
Its wired so the side marker lamp grounds through the front turn signal. That way the side marker and the front marker flash when the turn indicator is on. So nothing wrong in the wiring and both filiments in the bulb have the correct resistance.

I think is just becoming the age of entitlement.

People of all ages feel they are entitled to spew their rage at whatever they perceive as diminishing their life and the World they want to live in on their terms only.

They are angry that can’t have the World the way they want it to be and believe something external is keeping them from having the happy life they really want. Yet they also believe that they are entitled to piss in everyone else’s Cheerios and spoil their happiness.

Nothing makes an angry person angrier than a person enjoying something. They feel the need to destroy that happiness and impose their anger upon it.

It’s just sad.

Misery loves company...

Since they are miserable, they want others to be....

Like my ex... If she wasn't having a good time, she made sure everyone else around her did not have a good time either...
