What have you been up to?
Just working, Been stuck in the shop doing routine maintenance on the equipment. Lots of rain lately so we should be getting out in the field soon. Speaking of work, gotta get moving. Just wanted to stop in and say howdy. Have a blessed day! Talk with ya'll soon.

take care of yourself bud

you know, its pretty revealing... not the picture, but to your character. the fact that you still want to poke fun at me, which is perfectly fine and dandy and i'm all for it, but you wont ever get to see my response considering you have me on ignore for childish reasons, reasons for which you still refuse to talk to me over, phone or email but whatever. Pretty easy to poke fun of someone when you can't see them respond huh? oh wait, you can't answer that cause you can't see my posts... :BangHead:

Oversize coveralls, dust mask hearuing protection. This sucks.
And shop is a mess. At least i was smart enough to turn truck around so most of it is far away from my desk. Going to be a long day.

Note to self, remove phone from work area to keep metal filings out of earpiece. Makes phone hard to hear when magnet pulls cone from the filings.

compressed air, blow them out. I've had to do that from time to time

I saw it too, looked like a great survivor project. I like those seem to be a lot less expensive then taking one back to original.
Needs a few things under the good changed back but very complete. Window sticker and original owner info a big bonus.

Update on my search for a blue convertible top. A few months ago I ran across a copy page showing the swatch colors for the black, white, and blue 67 Plymouth convertibles. I called the major top companies and all replied they didn't make a blue top in 67. I'd tell them what I had the color swatch page, and then get the we don't do blue. Legendary was my last call, and they referred me to Electron Tops in Queens, NY. They are a third generation, family owned and operated top company. They have a heck of a website, very easy to work with and very reasonable. It's one of those places you get the "this feels right" places.

So talking to my MOPAR buddy the other day. He deals in 67-69 Barracuda parts and has a wealth of knowledge. Turns out the page I was looking at was from his book. The book, 1967 Plymouth color & trim book came to him years ago in a car deal. The seller had been a sales manager for a bigger dealership. In 40 years he said he'd never seen another one like it. I'm going to forward the samples from Electron Top to him, and he'll give me the closest match. Small world how funny how it all falls together sometimes, happy, happy!!!!

I am excited... ChallengerSteve is going to mail out my torsion bar today!!!
That was the first thing I had to do to begin my Duster project. Hey, start a build thread!

Supposed to be with task force against prostitution, fraud and drugs. Car belonged to his old auntie that died and she drove it to bingo a couple times a month. And she kept it in the garage. Then he inherited it from her. I know I know!!!! But I did take my brother in law with me and he does body work and stuff... shade tree mechanic ... soooo
So it was a pimpmobile?

Now Keith got his duster on classic through his insurance not sure how much,
about $170/yr with State Farm

Agreed I have a ton of stuff I could put up there and was turned off by it.
It needed to be done. I have had a conversation with the original poster about it. When it kept going south he asked for help. I thought it was a great idea.
Great idea, guaranteed train wreck.

Already done most of the cleanup behind the house. Wanted to get the heat pump uncovered right away so I could turn the oil off

Look quick guys. It won't last long. LOL
What is that? Hoppy's jock strap? Where's the other/ apparently good pic?

Yo Ho Ho, and a Bucket o Snow......
How many buckets you want?

Never, No way, nowhere...

Morning men.....We get some way out there people on this forum, don't we? Free parts thread!!! :BangHead::BangHead:
Don't let it eat you Tim. World is full of all sorts. TMM did what was needed. Probably should come up with a new headline that better describes the process - its like the mystery Christmas gifts where eveyone gives away something. Uh - and no bowling balls in this one! LOL

Ever see that guys for sale ads - something about them - I don't even look anymore.

3 of these out for delivery today. I will be stocked up for a while.
