Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
shop is closed another day here ...I think we are getting paid back for lost time with the snow. Most of the month of FEB was spring like and now we are getting it all at once :protest:

On the way home I got behind a plow and that made it easier but soooo slow. The lights of the plow kept fading in and out in the blowing snow. Looked like a scene from Polar express when he on top of the train.......great movie!!

once I got home I went straight for the diet coke with cherry juice again :glasses7:

It's always easier to go faster behind the plow than in front of it.... :glasses7:

Am I the first one up today?? I don't wanna be but Nella has another basketball tournament in Kalamazoo, 2 hours away and we need to be outta here by 6:30....yikes!! So much for my Saturday, but the games are very fun to watch! She is the manager of our Special Olympics basketball team, and it is an absolute blast to see the kids play against other teams!! So, I'm filling up on coffee and headed on the highway!! Might swing by and check on that 68 Dart convertible out there!!

Enjoy the day all!! Geof

I am not sure about a corroded ground because it didn't do the surging act tonight. The only variable I can think of is that last night the engine compartment was caked with snow because you could see in my tracks where the K-frame was being a plow and there snow all around the battery and everywhere. Tonight the roads were more clear and I didn't have that problem. I didn't even get stuck tonight like last night. Last night I got stuck 4 times :???:

Up early today. Today we have the Church oil change ministry here at my shop. Every three months the women in our Church Family who are single Moms, Widows , or Divorces sign up for a free oil change and cursory check over . The Church pays for the Motor oil an d filters. There will be 2 or 3 guys from our congregation who will come and help. Sue makes Coffee and muffins and tea , and have fellowship with the ladies while they wait for their vehicles to be done . I have been doing it here now for about 10 years. It is a good time with friends.

that's a good idea .....I should suggest that at my church.

Usually I am their chief baker because most girls around here cant even boil water these days. They are useless beyond belief but we still love them :???:

But a lot of guys at my church could probably benefit from such an idea because people need help under the hood these days with these newer cars. :???:

random thought: isn't it strange that the Charger never had the N96 air grabber option.

you would think that for what it was and its place in the dodge line up that it would have had its own version.

I actually got the idea when i was on short term mission trip to Argentina back in 04. There were groups there from Churches out West, and they were telling me about how they did it. I just thought it would be cool if we could institute such a program for our ladies. We have thought of offering as an outreach program also. But we are afraid that we will be taken advantage of.

You know, I really never considered that. I' pretty sure that they would have had their own version though.
