Ultra slick for sure. With the engine tune, you also get the DSG tune, increases line pressure, holds more torque. Shifts are instant.

Same sort of thing with the DS tune on the SRT. Shift pressures are increased and the torque management by the TCM is removed. Shifts hard and fast.

The way it was edplained to me years ago was. Transmissions by design are made to slip so as to insure a smoothshift.

It is all done Via the computer. A masterpiece of engineering IMO. Two gearboxes in one case. 205 LB's tho.....
456 rear and a 400 stroker is a tork monster.
