Stop in for a cup of coffee

Bright spot of the day...I got the last installment of my retention bonus. Another 3 months salary headed straight into the reserve fund. I have banked and invested every bit of the bonus over the past year so I will always have a years worth of pay in reserve.

They can cheat me out of the rest, but this is all mine.

Slipped with the air hammer, pointed bit. Made a hole....

Ddaddy love the shine. Putting a shine to a car is something I can do, and do well. How do you do yours?? Always looking for a better way.
First the car was machine buffed. Then I used polishing compound and glaze to perfect the shine. A good coat of synthetic wax on top to protect.

Now I just use some polishing compound when needed and refresh the wax after.

Fire got away, about 5 miles from here. People across river were told to prepare to evacuate. Then wind stopped and had a little rainshower. So safe for now. Im across a wide river from the fire so no worries here.

Man, this tire sizing thing is driving me nuts. I've got the back figured out. Now its the front. Im going to give my current rears a try on the front and see if they fit ok. I think I have to raise my front end, its got a lot of rake to it and in order to fit bigger tires in I think that is needed.

I had to raise the front to fit the 216/65/15 tires. The total rake on the car is around 1.5” back to front.
