Very nice! It is always a great in the shop with family. I am building another rat rod with my son and working on Mopar muscle with Dad.

Morning guys. I woke up early for a dose of ibuprofen. (thanks to spell check. I can never spell that right without help). The old finger is aching a bit.I might as well start a pot of coffee.

A Rat Rod would be great to build I think, never dun one , I bet it is a fun time

It is a blast. No worries about anything. Just drive it, people don't park next to you ever... Both have homemade chassis, mine has 472 Caddilac and my son's has 460 Ford. His has a long ways to go but plugging away at it bit by bit (older pic). He is a 16 year old Junior and we are hoping he will be driving it for his Senior year.

I sooo dig rat rods!

Buddy wants to do his 69 gmc up in rat rod fashion. Would be fun.

I have a 52 chev 1 ton that would make a great rat.

Me too. I was looking for a photo of one I took at a local car show. Couldn't find the photo but it was creative. Every time you look you could find another detail. My buddy does more resto mod trucks with patina. Thet have LS crate engines and 4l60/80e trannys and Ford 8.8 rears. He has Boss do custom interiors and the frames are boxed and the suspension is air ride. Not really a rat rod like your machines 71GSS.

Hey guys I’m looking for some bondo advice. I’m in the process of doing the steering column modification. I’ve cut off the shift indicator housing and the column shifter mount and filled the unnecessary holes with JB weld. I’m finishing the second round of sanding and smoothing today. Next will be bondo to do the finishing touches and smooth it all out. I have had absolutely 0 experience with bondo and would appreciate ANY advice!

Thinner the better in my experience. Spread it on as smooth as possible too.
