Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning all. About an inch of snow only here. Cold though. Cooking Ham, fried potatoes, and eggs this morning for me and my young protege Joseph. He will be here at 9am. Then out to the shop where he is going to help me remove the transmission from the 92 Ram 250 Diesel. Will bench the trans here tomorrow with HD parts so I can bump up the power on the Cummins some. Already installed a boost gauge and a pyrometer to get a baseline.

Rani, The color on The Golden Rotisserie Chicken is JJI Gold. We did add a little more metallic to it though. And it is BC/CC. So it does look a little different from stock.Awesome looking in person. While I'm at it, I'll thump my chest a little. Here is the build thread.

very cool ...thanks. I had not seen the build thread, I actually saw that picture in the "show your 68/9 roadrunner" thread on FBBO.

I am leaning towards turbine bronze met. which is a 68 color or possibly T5 copper met. which is a 69 color ...I think ....or possibly something totally different, like non mopar color.

Good Morning. I feel for you guys in the northeast. That kind of snow looks wicked. We're looking at a balmy 73 today. Got my coffee and sausage & eggs down. On to the grind at work. Maybe the boss will look the other way for a while and I can do some work on my car...

Got up around 6:00AM, and have been running around most of the morning. 4 cups of coffee, I'm sitting at the computer and looking at how much I need to do here in my office. Between closing out the year, and closing out the final business book keeping, and clearing out files, and even getting rid of some of the office furniture, I'm a little overwhelmed, right now, and I'm using that as my excuse to goof off.

I spoke with my Son, my nephew and my brother-in-law who all still live in NE NJ, to see how they are doing. My son feels vindicated that he purchased a Jeep Rubicon last year. He's actually pretty happy right now, lol.
My nephew works from home, so he's bummed out, and my Brother-in-law is self employed, so he's a little put out, too. he thinks he should be able to get back into it by Thursday, though.

My son sent me this... lmao...

Oh, well, guess I need to empty some file drawers...

Catch up, later.

Morning All, Its brewing, once again up before the chickens or did they get lost in the blizzard of 15? Tell you the truth I am glad we were over prepared as FEMA would have ran out of prepaid cards if they were not! 5 here and feels like 0.

Well I see Ray is here. Good Morning! Here is another morning that I did not want to get up.

I need to find a cure for laziness. I must have worn myself out in the younger years because it sure is hard to get started any more

Don't do what I did and have a Lindsey Lohan want to be for a kid. Keeps you vigilant 24/7 Just when you think....

Your just s of State College right? We have to hook up in the summer. 322 across the river is a good clean the carbon out trip for me. Hopefully the dart will be on the road then.

Same here about getting it on the road. Mine needs a few thing done for this year. If I could get my garage cleaned out....

It will happen this year. I am going to get down there

What engine you have? The 225 and 904 are going to need a home this year. I am kind of thinking of trading it for 440 install help. I just want to run the car around with it to work out any bugs with the body/suspension/brakes/fuel/all of it just incase before the bb goes in. I am seriously thinking to get the motor on a dyno just because it was in great shape and just put a cam/intake/headers to it. It was a motor out of a boat that sank with around 100 hrs on it. Just cleaned it all up internally and put new rings/oil pump in it basically. Did not need any machining, kind of scary. A run before install is prob a good idea, just need to find a place locally before we have too much beer and decide it is a good idea to fire it up on the engine stand! LOL

225/904. I was having problems but I think I got that worked out. Now to some quarter work. If you need help just let me know. I have looked at a swap like that but have not done it. I have a 69 truck with a 4sp 225. I have a 383 I want to put in

Morning all. First glass of tea. The Wife's Birthday is today, so I have to be on my best behavior. LOL Got the trans out of the 92 Cummins yesterday. All the heavy up parts will be here this morning and I will rebuild it today. Door panels came yesterday for the GTS. Still waiting on the seat covers.

Morning Mitch, Am I reading this right you are going to rebuild an engine for her birthday? I thought I was bad giving mine a sympathy card for our 20th anniversary!

I put new lower quarters on mine. I got them from classic 2 current for really a good price and the quality was as good as amd. The best part was the shipping was like 30 for both sides.

Morning all. Sounds like you have some serious projects to get done today. I have a busy day planned myself. Tell the Mrs. Happy Birthday for us Mitch. tmm

morning everyone ....running late on everything today.

Always easy to get started in the shop though.....when you think of every precious minute that passes without certain cars on the road and things not finished ....its easy to get started ......tic tok. LOL

Happy Birthday Mrs. Mitch.

Good morning, all. Cup #4 in my hand, and I just got off the phone with a guy who made me an offer I can't refuse.

I have a couple of Buick 401 nail head engines. One of them is built for street use. The other still untouched, but it crank.
I've got about $2600.00 into the completed engine ( including it's original purchase price), and I told him that. He offered $4500.00 for that engine, and he'd take the other one for another $500.00.

He came by last night to look tings over, called back this morning. I think I'm going to take him up on his offer. He'll be by on Saturday to take another look and review the receipts for the build, I told him to bring cash, and that I'd like the two engine dollies back, when he mounts the engines on his engine stands.lol

I know they're inexpensive, but I have a couple of more engines I need to mount for sale.
I paid $390.00 for both engines about 10 years ago. I still have the receipt.

morning all, isn't it a lovely day. :protest: Well coffee's on time to get something done.
