Stop in for a cup of coffee

Nice way of looking at it. Did you know New Holland sells the same tools for 1/2 price!

I cant say I have ever seen new Holland brand here.

I am actually starting to like the tools at auto zone ....they are made by great neck brand and re-labeled to "duralast" and they carry a lifetime warranty.

I think I am still way too loyal to sears though :D

That great neck brand is pretty good. We sold a lot of different brand of tools over the years in the parts business.

I have a ton of sears, a lot of snap on and lately have been using some harbor freight wrenches that I got for a few bucks to put in the trunk of the cars. They are Pittsburg brand and fully guaranteed. I really like them.

the one thing in my tool box that jumps out right away that is not craftsman is a 3/8 impact wrench made by the lowes brand....cant remember what brand that is but I remember craftsman did not have a 3/8 impact available when I got it.

when your my size, impacts and cheater bars are your friends. I use the chrome sockets which is actually a no no on the 3/8 impact but I have never broke one.

My best friend is a snap on 1/2 flexible head ratchet. If it wont break free with that something is wrong. My bud has a 3/8 impact and uses it all day long at his shop. Best tool he owns.

Happy Wednesday folks! Got my big gulp coffee cup and sitting at work checking the BAS computer for any problems.. So far so good! Hopefully its a quiet day here in corrections..

Rani, Just saw your driveshaft post. My 74 still has the /6 904 combo with an 8 1/4. Need a measurement? Remember my wheelbase is 110.

Yeah that's it, I am always loosing an inch lately! You really need to open a grave yard cars for A bodies!

wow you learn something new everyday ....the 2 door and the 4 door have the same wheel base and 72 to 74 is the same so your driveshaft is the correct measurement.

It is up on stands I can get it for you. From center of the U joints? Not sure what the standard is.

Late to the party but half way through my second cup. I missed out on quite a discussion this morning. Have a good day all. tmm

Mornin, late to the table, driving to work as I drink the first two. on number three now. Snow, fog, and sleet now, looking gloomy rite now.
