Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good luck with the engine find Mitch. Hopefully you can get some good stuff...

Maybe a few forged crank engine....

Yes, Spectra.

I am curios now was the aftermarket ring a larger diameter? First I heard of it. I sent out a few dozen already. As far as I know they are NOS, It would really suck to have all of them not being right.

I coudn't find much difference in them. The metal thickness was pretty close, some of the bends measured close (as good as I could get in to measure them)...

We did get it locked and centered. It feels like the sending unit and seal are in there pretty good, so I'm hoping that it will be ok.... :color:

Won't be able to tell until we fill up the tank, and that won't be for a while, we have lots more work to do before the Valiant hits the road.... :burnout:

Morning guys. I have seen a lot of that happen with factory tanks and rings. The rings seem too small for the tank but that's the way the factory did it. I get to watch a lot of techs fix things on my route and they all cuss the sending unit rings the way they fit.

I was worried because I scored 100 of them, just passing the deal on. P/N 19730095 I believe. How is the Tool Man today?

Morning all!! My prayers are going out to Karl and his family today in hopes that his Mom will find the energy to fight to come home!! Also hoping that there is a 440 AND a 340 in that garage to bring home, and some extra trinkets to boot!! Enjoy your day everyone, I'm headed off to work!! Geof

Hey! I made it here. Boy a lot going on here this morning. And then this crazy weather.

Doing good. Trying to catch up here and waiting for the coffee pot to finish a brew. We are ushering at church this month at the 10:00 service so I need to wake up.

I didn't check my email for a day, then find out last night that my cousin from Washington D.C. is in town. I have to try to catch up with her today....

Our grandma is in ICU from side affects from knee surgery. Pneumonia, bleeding lung, and a few other issues.

Prayers for Grandma. Curious.. How old is she?
I'm not much older than you (50) If my grandmother was still living she would be 119. Lost her in '99 at 103. One of my biggest regrets is not finding out more of the family history from her. She could barely see or hear, but her mind was sharp.

My dad is 85. I found out yesterday that my sister took him to WillsEye in Philly the other night after complications of cataract removal last week. The kept him there till they clear up infection and other issues.
