Stop in for a cup of coffee

Spent the afternoon yesterday PM ing my JD lawn tractor. Today I need to replace a fairly new upper ball joint on my 92 Ram 250. I'ts been popping and making noise for a while now. Now I hear squeak. So I don't trust it. Will replace today. Also need to put 2 new rear wheel cylinders on it. Only part of brakes I haven't replaced yet. I think one of them is sticking.

That prop valve works great it stops the car way better! Like a 80's car. It must have been 50-50 braking at first.

I have to mow today. I went to Carlisle yesterday and froze my butt off until about 11. Spent way too much money. And wore myself out

I bought 2 fiberglass fenders headlight buckets and valance for the Challenger. I am not even close to getting to that project but the price was too good to pass up and I have or had no intentions of going to fiberglass

No it will raise up like a chevy cowl induction! Only when you hit a switch! LOL There was a lot of mindless engineering going on yesterday in the shop. King of the hill style!

I think most outside tachs look .... Tacky.
Maybe a pop-up would be alright if nearly invisible while sleeping. Is there a kit for it?

Not at all just a beer thought yesterday. The only hood tach I like is on the GTO around 68.

I'm a little late today...

Been busy the last few days, end of semester and teachers are piling final projects on us....

I have most of my 3D Inventor project done now, just have to finish the final project... (I modelled a bench vise from scratch - all parts but the standard screws, then made them into an assembly, then did an animation of how the parts all fit together (it builds itself in the video), now I have to do a detail drawing showing all of the parts and labelling them with a bill of materials and title block.

That will get me to the end of the Inventor Assemblies class, then I have to get the GD&T work done:

Finish reading chapter 12, then complete the assigned homework problems - due Monday. Then the quiz on Wed.

He already assigned the final, and I have to work on that...

Then he already gave out some extra credit, but we have to take an on-line test and keep taking it until we get a 100% to get credit for that assignment...

And he may also give some more extra credit after that... I need all the help I can get, last time I checked, my grade dropped to 89%.... I want to get an "A"....

I've had straight "A's" in all my design classes so far, and I don't want to ruin my streak....

What employer can say no to someone with straight "A's"???

Here are some screen caps of my project:

The assembly after drawing every part from scratch (except the screws that you can get from a database).

Here's the assembly animation. Each part will animate and assemble in sequence. We have to set up the sequence and make sure that we have some single moves and combined moves (linear and rotating). Then set different camera angles, lighting scheme, and number of frames for each sequence. Then animate it in a .wmv or .avi file - however .wmv is dying out, so we do .avi...

Here is what I have so far for my detail drawing. I may end up deleting a view or two and adding balloons to label each part in the assembly from the Bill of Material...

And my internet connection is running slower than old people fornicate for the last 2-3 days.... :finga: :banghead:

A little on the cool side, but supposed to go low sixties today. Groceries and yard work today.

I will be in the hops field most of the afternoon. I have to throw a few hundred growing strings today.

Sounds like fun I'm still cleaning up from winter. Govt men were here took away whatever was running around on my neighbors property and mine. So now they said we can go back in the yards.

What the heck? Little blue men?

Not smurfs. I thought I posted about it last week. No idea where it came from about the size of a shoe box and a half. Unable to take a pic they all reflected back. Seemed to be just digging. Neighbor called someone. Then they called someone else I guess. Three days tarped off an area and guys with hazmat and radiation equipment. Told us nothing to worry about.

Wow I must have missed that one. Area 52? That is weird. It was digging in the ground?

Yup. Had weird markings. Fred my neighbor did a sketch when we couldn't take pics. Was out there a least a week we figure. Well going shopping be back later.
