It's like working on your car.. nobody will do it as well as you will do it. It's a pride thing, and people working for a paycheck these days don't have much of that.
Exactly. That's why I like to do things myself. Done my way to my standards.
I always tell my boys, "If you want it done right, do it yourself..."
My brother used to tell me back in the day that most of the body shops that he was connected with wouldn't do body work for me as I'm too picky... :finga:
Really? What's wrong with wanting your car to turn out right? Am I supposed to accept flaws when I paid them to do the job? If I would accept flaws, I would do it myself and live with the mistakes. But if I did it myself, I wouldn't let the mistakes go, I would take the time to get it right or pay someone to get it right... THAT'S WHAT I PAY THEM FOR...
If they don't want to do the work for me, then that's fine. They most likely wouldn't have done the job to my satisfaction... So how am I loosing out on guys that would do a half-assed job not wanting to work for me.... I would be better off doing it myself.... :violent1:
How can a "professional" shop put out work that doesn't meet up to "professional standards"??? I don't get it.... #-o
