Happy Independence Day, everyone. Hoping we don't get bad thunderstorms, I don't really want a bunch of disappointed vacationers fighting for a seat in the restaurant...the resort has an outdoor buffet and activities planned, and fireworks.
My Mom called first thing this morning, that was a very welcome way to start the day. She's from the generation of LADIES who always puts their best foot forward. At 75 she picked up her violin where she left off in high school...we didn't even know she played! For a while she was one of 3 violins in a combo at her church, now she is the only violin in a quartet and she is practicing 7 pieces every day. She will be 79 next month, I am so proud of her.
