i looked into an over haul kit, figured $230 upfront is a lot better than 3k down the line.

If I had to have one... I dont think more than $100 each for engine and trans. If your lucky enough to find a buyer. There's too many around. Unless its recent rebuild, or some 'special' parts, maybe a bit more. But even then there's the 'who worked on it question'. I would be surprised If anyone took it as trade...
A pristine exhaust manifold is worth more than the rest of the block.

I'll probably list it at $500 obo for trans, engine, filter to pan.

Just ordered one from Jeggs, mine has a hole in the case so by the time I would get a core and the parts it is just a few hundred more so what the hell!

Been bringin stuff out from my Dad's, got Duster parts all over the garage. But there is always more room. LOL

Going to do the trailer roof out there Saterday. Probably be home more weekends after that. Still got more inside work, but outside is about done after the shingles. Time to get my place organized a bit. I usually clean things up around this time of year so the Mrs can park in the garage for winter.

Man I was a wiring fool on the 130's! Rewired at least 8 full fuel tank indicating wiring systems. Prob about 3/8 mile of wire on each one!

Since you said ypu are going to have it running...keep it in to sell. Much better chance of getting higher $ if buyer can at least hear it run. Better yet if they can drive it. Then your tranny value goes up a bit. Still most will consider it a core unless you can show low miles or receipts.
