I'm helping another member here with his 340. The parts are done at the head guy (in Detroit), we need to schedule a trip out there in the next week or two to pick them up. Heads, intake, and trans are done and ready to go. :burnout:
He had another guy already build the engine, but we found some short cuts that he took. No hardened seats in the exhaust valves, guides were sloppy, but that's all taken care of now. that's why I use my head guy, he knows his **** - more than me... The member already mentioned to me that he thinks it was a mistake to let someone else build his engine, but we will get it right before we put it in his 69 Dart. He's like me and likes to do things right the first time, so you don't have to do them over.... :cheers:
