Stop in for a cup of coffee

ice is bad at this stage - it's already swelled as much as it's going to - you need warm compresses to reduce the swelling
Unfortunately not. The knee was feeling quite a bit better yesterday (maybe back to 70%)but today it hurts like hell again. I worked from home today since I wanted to give is some rest. I've had ice on it all day and now it's wrapped tight with an ace bandage.

I'm treating it with beer now hoping to be able to sleep tonight.

I went back to the ice since it started swelling again. I be damned if I know why, I didn't do anything to it yesterday to cause it. Maybe it just didn't like the day at work and the commute.

Love the blue! Those cars are beasts in AWD and great to drive. 65% rear power and 35% front power AWD all the time. Feels like RWD but handles great with the extra pull from the front in the twisties.

Thanks. I didnt know the front/rear power #s. Only that it goes where you point it every time. I love snowy days. Pretty cool when there is a traffic jam cause people are slippin and sliding and cant make it through the main road. And, I can turn off and take ANY road and not worry about getting stuck.

you just aggravated it - it'll swell because of that - be sure that to reduce it now (and probably for the rest of the weekend) you need warmth/heat. Keep it elevated and stay off of it as much as possible..

dang I hate waiting for items for bid on EBAY

why don't everyone just list everything with a buy it now so there is no tension and waiting. :???:

Makes sense to me. Alcohol dehydrates, so should help reduce swelling right?

I sure hope so. Biggest thing is to deaden the pain impulses a bit. I just need it to quiet down for a few hours so I can get to sleep.

One more beer and then a big slice of pizza. If that doesn't put me to sleep, nothing will.

I posted on wrong thread, deleted it. Now i'm motivated again to Finnish it! Tried to put in new headliner with rear window in, forget it. took window out, And will tear out new carpet because a CAT crawled in thru the rear window and sprayed up the inside! CRAP. I already have new carpet. Second time is a charm i hope. I will prob do a better job this time. :coffee2:

Can't you steam clean the carpet instead of replace it.... #-o

In my mind, it belongs to me... with a TBI slant and OD and 3.73s.. and no radio..

I like where you are going with this

buckets or bench

I am on the bubble as to whether I like a bench or buckets better

so far I think I like a bench better. I have converted cars from bench to buckets and found the buckets to be a tad bit over rated ....except on 68 and 9 ...I do like the low back buckets.

What happened to TMM's thread on Front End Friday...

Did it get deleted because of Rani's older one???

Nope. I merged them. The oldest posts start first. Lots of great cars in her thread.

Welcome back Anders! How's progress on your car?

Ters.

None to zero, basically. Ran out of steam a while back. Plus it's cold in the garage and rolling all the bicycles out in the rain to work on the car became old.

I'm back, though! Possibly making a tour up north on Monday to check out an old resurrected US car parts facility in Sundsvall (look it up :) ). They might have a fresh fender for me.

Snowing sideways this morning. How are things in SA?

Good to see you back, and working on the car again... :D

Sometimes it's good to take a break to recharge... :color:
