It does Mitch, lost an inch somewhere myself :coffee2:
That's what she said....

wow - that's a big one... where have I heard that before.....????
can also do a Ninja star launcher for that or a pizza shaped star launcher like the teenage ninja mutant turtles
I think every kid did that.....possibly me too.......maybe
Any one run a air dam in the front? Freaking Ron again got me thinking.
They are perfect! $50 shipped!!!!!! The air dam is to get the engine comp a bit cooler.
as in a spoiler?
I have two 10" fans and it runs right at 180 at all times, just thinking to get some of the other heat out of the engine comp. I HEAT WRAPED THE TRI Y'S BUT IT STILL GETS QUITE WARM IN THERE.
humm.. nope - I would think if you have a shroud you wouldn't need it...
holy night owl!!
Hey Karl the Valient looks great!
what's your weigh in KaptKarl?
My kid's on a stay up all night and sleep all day schedule.... :banghead: #-o
It doesn't take too long to cc one chamber. He may want to do the "total fill method" where you install the head with the proper head gasket and measure at TDC and BDC.
Hello again, everyone!
The X heads fell through. No X on them. They were 1973 340 heads, though.
hey, my engine guy wants me to bring him my heads to verify compression - does this sound right?
humm.. well, he didn't ask for the head gaskets.. guess I will find out later today, gotta bring the bearings, rings, cam and heads to him soon here... thanks Mike!!
Here's my favorite. I should have taken one @ 100 mph but I thought having hands on the wheel is more important. About 2200 rpm @ 100 in 6th.
Nothing wrong with those. Put in some 2.02" intake valves and give them a quick port and they will run great.
I even have some heads up to 77 and they still work well with a good port job and 2.02" valves....
yea, wez was rockin and rollin this morn..
Karl - - where's your # bud?
The thing is I wouldn't want to go to all the trouble of machining heads that aren't any better than the ones I have. I have 3769974 heads, 75-76 360 heads.
If the 340 heads with the 1.88 valves are higher compression and better flowing, then I might buy them anyway but if they're on par with the ones I have - meh.
