Stop in for a cup of coffee

Getting back to the car yet? Saw that you needed a driveshaft, Can they make them there?

We picked up some steel yesterday at the scrapyard that we are going to use on the tractor to dig up hop roots. It has to stick out one side of the tractor about three feet and be solid to dig into the soil. Might take a lot of beers for this one.

Ever notice in junkyards that the soil there is a special blend of oil and grease! Looked like Kuwait after the gulf war! Prob have to powerwash the floor of the truck after spraying purple power in it.

I had a brain fart moment yesterday. Took the flux core wire out of the welder and went with mig wire so the welds would be prettier. Had plenty of gas but i couldn't get it to weld for nothing. After about 5 practice welds i said screw it and grabbed a beer. Then it dawned on me that i hadn't swapped the leads when i switched to gas. Amazing how nice you can weld when you get the polarity right..

I always thought my polarity was off also. I really want to try a TIG, they are getting reasonable.

I know I have a bunch of them here. Had to rent a bobcat with a drill attachment to dig the holes for the hop poles. The one I had on my 3 pt just kept getting stuck.

Here on Sunday no loud noise before 10am. Wonder whats up?

High winds blew many trees/branches and they are contractors from the power company to help clear the lines...

But I agree, why this early in the morning when it's dark???

They guys are sitting out there in their truck waiting for more workers to show up...

I wish that I could get paid to do nothing.... #-o

I never tried one would love to play with one. Ron is buying a set of torches that will prob be on permeate storage here since his garage is under his house.

I'm taking a road trip to look some stuff up. Need to get about a little.

There's a company that works only with drive shafts here in Gothenburg so they can shorten one, no problem.

I realized that since I have a 727 and an 8 3/4 I should get a drive shaft from a bigger mopar. That way the spline would fit the trans and the rear U-joint would fit the diff. Right?

Oh, and I have a lead on a couple of 915 heads. Bare and with the 1.88" valves. Don't know what to pay, though.
