Stop in for a cup of coffee

The Ram was on a buy back recall, had a issue with the front suspension that they could no fix. 40k miles on truck and was on its third set of michelin tires, 1600 a set! The design was bad. They redesigned suspension after that year.

I have an 08 Silverado - surprisingly great truck.. had misgivings when I first bought it but the price was right so.. ya do what ya gotta do...

I have my Hellcat but im trying to keep mileage down on it, Im tapped out on cars! what I have is it. They gave me 40k for my Ram, only paid 48k for it new. Stole it.

Hey there you truckers!!! I have to admit to driving a GMC truck also.. Hi, my name's Ben. And I drive a GMC...
Hi Ben! This thing is sweet! Pulled a 53 ft car carrier full on monday, from indio to phoenix AZ. Pulled the grade outside Indio at 60mph with air on! Nice. I remember climbing that hill in first gear with my 460 powered ford at 15mph. How far pickups have come. And a lot lighter load as well with the ford.

where's the day crew!? *knocking on your 'puter screen* - wake up!! do I have to throw a coffee at you!?

I am here...just checking in then time for a hair cut. Customers respect a waiter who's got a fresh haircut.

I don't know if you guys comb Craigslist like I do...I was going to share a link to a '69 more door V100 3-on-the-tree I saw, very nice shiny survivor for $3500. Someone snapped it up though I guess, which is good, so I'm not torturing myself...not ready to adopt another old Mopar.

what ya gonna do right? they are typically cheaper to run and maintain... and parts is EASY!

Real cheap in my case, the company owns, fuels and maintians it. I just drive the wheels off of it. They made me give this one up for the one I got now. Really miss that one...

I'm curious - why would Demon be so inappropriate? To me it seems like a "tongue-in-cheek" kinda thing - put the little cartoon dude in there - - it's all good... no?

Only speculation from my side sir, although our local Mopar group have discussed this. Mostly all agreed this may be the case. 70's South Africa was a conservative time, strickt and very God-fearing... One thing though, Chrysler SA badged Valiant Charger before Oz,:D The Australian shape Charger was never available in the US (VH, VJ, VK and CL)?

New ones are nice..especially the diesels. They have come a long way, quiet, powerful, fast and comfortable. Hard not to appreciate that... (as long as the turbo or the injectors don't take a dive). Boss (more accurately, the company) dropped nearly 8K on injectors in his Duramax.

I had a feeling that might be where it was coming from - interesting.

my wife wants me to get a newer truck - I have 154k on mine... still runs and looks so good... so it is tough to justify it at this point.. dah.. :banghead:

150K power train warranty from GMC. That Alison transmission shifts real nice. Will downshift automatically like a stick-shift.
