Stop in for a cup of coffee

Past ten bells and near 50F outside. Time to go pop the hood and work on my headlights.
Catch yuins when I take a break...

Still around gang! No T yet.....I'll post pics, honest.

While you all were asleep, I fitted the manifolds back on the Charger /6:D. Only need to put auxiliaries back (carb etc.), bench bleed master cylinder and brakes....then drive the old girl again!

I want to sort all the little issues, then park off my Monaco to trace an electrical gremlin....have to have one Mopar running!

Ters.

That's great!

You got the charger going again... :blob:

I agree to keep one Mopar running... :D

If you need some electrical troubleshooting help, just ask. If we can't help you, there is a great electrical guy that hangs around here, Del (67Dart273) that can. If Del can't figure it out, nobody can... #-o

I have to get a shower and start preping the truck for today's voyage. We are going to Eddie's to get his engine and bring it down here so we can get it ready to install in his 69 Dart.

We will get it on a stand and start checking the compression, then check the bottom end to make sure the guy who put it together got everything torqued properly. (I don't want to loosen the rod and crank bolts in case they have been re-used and may be to their limit of bolt stretch...)

Then do a map of the cam to see what's in there and where it's set.

After all of the "inspection" is done, then we can start putting it together.

Hiya folks!

Back from my road trip. Grand total of 2,216 km or 1,377 miles. Left Tuesday morning, back Friday afternoon. Got to spend a night on the town with an old and very dear friend in my home town of Karlskoga, too.

I scored a trans slip yoke that was the same as the one I had, two headlight rims to replace my rusted out ones, the little hatch for the trans dust cover and a straight front bumper!

edit. Oh, I forgot, a trans speedo gear and pinion, too!

That's a lot of km's but also a lot of fun and parts, nice!

I'm late, got distracted...high temp is 60, sunny, low tide later today, looking forward to a long walk on the beach to zone out. Bake some cookies for my Dad and get on the road to GA first thing tomorrow. Hope my Dad is up for a ride to our favorite Chinese restaurant. Then get back home. Renting a car is a treat to myself, works out to about $.10 per mile for quiet and comfort and no stress, if the car should break down, they'll bring me another!

It's always good to score!!!

Supposed to be near 60 here today. Think I will get started on installing/ wiring headlight relays. Just breaking 40 now, so I am in no rush to get started. Think some scrapple s in my near future.

Turned out to be a really nice day. Got my headlight relays installed today. Harness all back together with new 12gauge wire.
...And the scrapple was delicious as always

yeah it did! it was about 55 here - I actually had to back off the heat in the garage - I was dinkin' around with wiring too - got a good power source for the wiper kit and de-tangled the harness that PO had installed - what a mess! :banghead:
